The joys of Christmas


Everyone knows the poinsettia flower. Its beautiful flowers decorate many rooms. At home, you can enjoy the classic red flowers, but there are also orange, pink, and white shiny varieties. Once you purchase a poinsettia, wrap it carefully to bring it home and protect it from the cold as much as possible. Even inside the house, they need to be protected from the cold. They need to be watered regularly to maintain adequate humidity. Another lesser-known plant named Christmas is the Christmas cactus, which thrives at temperatures as low as around 15°C (59°F) and needs to be kept in a well-lit area. It grows well in warmer temperatures during spring and summer, but requires more frequent watering; after August, watering should be reduced and the plant should be allowed to flower. Potatoes come in a variety of colors and flower shapes. In the fall and spring, purple, red, pink, and white potato seedlings can be seen.
